<title>1400x900 Wallpaper (04/06/09) </title>
<description>Just a simple wallpaper I made from a random shot I took with the demo, I didn't realise it'd look so awesome as a wallpaper. Added the L4D logo, some noise, overlayed some clouds and an inner black glow, so yeah tis pretty simple.
I believe the images section is the right section, but be sure to point me in the right direction if it isn't.

<description>[thread=79][/thread]

So, I spent all this time installing sound packs, I had put them all together in one convenient folder that I could just copy over at any time to install. So here you are! :cc:

Installation:
Just copy the included "left4dead" folder into "C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonleft 4 dead" to install the sound packs.

Uninstallation:
Right-click Left 4 Dead in Steam and select Properties. Select the Local Files tab and hit Verify the integrity of the game cache. This will redownload the original files.

<title>l4d_sv_busdepot (27/05/09) </title>
<description>This is my first map using Hammer. It is a survival map based on a small bus depot.
To start the map open your console and type map l4d_sv_busdepot
There is no need to set the gamemode as the map will do that for you.
I did this to gain experience in Hammer as I have never used it before but it went well so I decided to release it.
I know there are probably bugs in this map but wth it is my first one.
To set the timer going just click the radio inside the building. There is no delay so be ready to fight the horde.

My next project will be a set of campaing maps but I will make time to do a few survival maps along the way.
Please visit my clans home The Exiled Gamers

Extract the 2 files to your maps folder. Usual location is
C:Program Files (x86 )Steam SteamApps Common left 4 dead left4dead maps

<title>Poster Spray Templates (18/05/09) </title>
<description>Hi

Thought I'd share these poster templates I created for custom sprays.

They are Targa and Photoshop files, each with the alpha channels saved so your poster blends nicely with the wall you spray it on.

To use:

1) Edit it to your liking

2) Save as a 32Bit Targa file (usually in this location):

YOUR_L4D_INSTALL_LOCATIONSteamsteamappscommonl eft 4 deadleft4deadmaterialsvguilogos

3) Run the game and goto 'Options > Multiplayer'

4) Click 'Import Spray' and pick the Targa file you created

5) Then click 'Spraypaint Image', pull down on 'Custom Logo' and choose the .VTF file with the same name you called your Targa file.

Done!

Hope they're useful!

Cheers
Matt
